Clayton’s TRU home models are built with affordability in mind, and the durability and comfort you can rely on with our Clayton Built® standard, making a house truly feel like home. We want to highlight some of the details in our most popular TRU homes and how they may be just what you’ve been looking for, so count down our top 5 models with us and find out why they are such family favorites.
But before we break down what makes each home stand out, let’s talk about some of the standard features you can find in all of these models. These 5 homes have a mix of wood-style vinyl flooring and Shaw® carpet, complete with R2X® stain resistance. The vinyl floors are water resistant, making those daily messes in the kitchen and bathrooms easy to clean up. Enjoy energy efficiency in the home with ecobee smart thermostats. You’ll also find open floor plans, great for family activities and gatherings, with split bedrooms for plenty of privacy. All of the kitchens feature Frigidaire® appliances and offer plenty of cabinet and counter space. A dishwasher is an optional feature in each. You also have the convenience of a laundry room, no matter which model you choose, so you can take care of those work outfits, uniforms, play clothes and sports jerseys from the comfort of your own home.
So, what else can you find in each home model? Let the countdown begin!
The Marvel is the largest home option on our list at 1,475 sq. ft., including 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, which makes it ideal for a larger household. Is a kitchen island a must-have for your dream home? This island is perfect for a prep station before mealtime, a breakfast bar, extra seating or a place for the kids to do homework while you keep an eye on dinner. Plus, with plenty of cabinets and the adorable picture window above the kitchen sink, we can’t help but love it.
Across from the Marvel’s kitchen, you’ll also find a bonus area. It can be your den or family room for board games and movie nights, but it’s also easy to turn into a flex space, whether that’s for a home office, a craft corner or more. Flex spaces give you the freedom to decide how the room fits you and what you need in your home.
The Glory is a charming choice with its vaulted ceilings and dark interior trim. It’s spacious too! At 1,039 sq. ft., it has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the open dining area and living room maximize both space and comfort. Plus, the L-shaped kitchen gives you lots of counter space and mobility when you’re cooking and entertaining.
The Delight is one of our most affordable models from TRU. At 820 sq. ft., it has 2 bedrooms, both with their own bathroom and closet, and more than enough space in the shared kitchen and living room. This home is fantastic for a smaller family, a couple needing a guest room, two friends living together or someone taking care of an older family member. We’ve featured the Elation home model on our blog, so we definitely know its great features are what make it so popular! It has a similar floor plan and style as the Glory, and the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms, but this model is a bit more affordable and space saving at 902 sq. ft. It’s a great home option for families, featuring an open kitchen and primary bedroom retreat.
1. Victory Plus
The Victory Plus is our current most popular TRU home model, and it comes as no surprise. It has 1,165 sq. ft. and 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The majority of the home features beautiful wood-style vinyl flooring, and the galley kitchen makes the transition to the living room and dining area easy and seamless. At the end of the hall, you’ll find built-in shelving with a mirror, where you can decorate, store extra blankets, keep your daily bags and backpacks handy or check how you look before leaving without having to go back in the bathroom. Of course, the winning feature is the primary bathroom. It has a walk-in shower and a separate garden tub, turning the room into a relaxing retreat.
