Elated for the Elation

Looking for a single-section home that matches affordability and quality with the space to keep you and your family comfortable? May we introduce the charming Elation model by TRU homes! This home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with 902 sq. ft. for all the space you need, including a utility room. We love this home so much, we had to give the keys to someone!

Clayton and, our long-standing partner, Family Promise, teamed together to donate a home to a deserving family in Davie, NC. Family Promise is a national non-profit organization committed to ending family homelessness. Sonya and her family are former graduates of the program, gaining job training, budgeting skills and establishing a savings account, and they now volunteer helping other families going through the program that helped them. This year, Sonya and her family are receiving the first of five homes Clayton plans on donating in 2020. Sonya had told Family Promise she had family land, and her goal was to have a permanent home there. Now she does! We wish her family many happy memories in her new home.

Perfect for Family Get-Togethers

The Elation has an open floor plan with the living room leading into the kitchen and dining area. The L-shaped kitchen has plenty of cabinets and counter space. A stretch of the counter looks out into the living room, making this home ideal for family gatherings, especially one with a snack buffet or larger meals. Members can mingle in both rooms without missing out on the conversation and fun. In this home, it’s easy to picture family game nights in the living room and Sunday breakfasts in the kitchen.

Private Retreat

There is nothing like having your own bedroom to retire to at night. Enjoy the main bedroom with its own bathroom attached. Distinct from the other bedrooms not only in size but location, enjoy the privacy and quiet a bedroom on the other end of the Elation grants for a restful sleep or reading a book in bed.

Not a square foot is wasted in this single section without feeling crowded. A simple and well-organized layout gives a perfect family design for every space needed for the day-to-day and still allows for everyone to have their own areas.

Other Things to Consider

Do you have little ones or pets? You can opt to have linoleum floors throughout the home and save any worry over juice boxes or paw prints on the carpet. Talk to your local home center about more options such as adding a dormer on the outside or including a dishwasher in the kitchen.
