Local home center honored during annual industry meeting in Las Vegas
MARYVILLE, Tenn., April 25, 2018 – Clayton Homes of Frazeysburg, Ohio has been named Midwest Sales Center of the Year by the Manufactured Housing Institute.
Clayton, a Berkshire Hathaway company and one of America’s largest home builders, accepted the award today during MHI’s 2018 National Congress and Expo at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. MHI is the national trade organization for the manufactured housing industry and its memberships include builders, suppliers, organizations, community owners and retail home centers. Clayton home building group, also under the Clayton umbrella, was named 2018 Manufacturer of the Year.
Clayton Homes acquired Williams-Burg Homes in 2015. Jack and Evan Atkinson, whose family owned and operated Williams-Burg Homes for over 40 years, are general managers at Clayton Homes of Frazeysburg.
“Jack and Evan are outstanding leaders in their community and the industry,” said Clayton Homes retail president Danny Warrick. “Their commitment to providing a world-class experience for customers and team members has made them one of the most successful home centers in our company and excellent ambassadors for manufactured housing.”
Every year, the Manufactured Housing Institute selects a home center from each of its four regions to be honored during their annual meeting in Las Vegas. This year, two home centers were chosen for Midwest Sales Center of the Year.
