Clayton Homes of Chino Valley Named 2021 MHI® Sales Center of the Year

Clayton Homes Sales Center Secures Top Manufactured Housing Institute® Award

September 2, 2021

CHINO VALLEY, Ariz., Sep. 2, 2021 – Clayton Homes of Chino Valley, an off-site built home sales center in the Retail division of Clayton Homes, was recognized as Manufactured Housing Institute’s 2021 Retail Sales Center of the Year for the West region. The annual awards recognize industry leaders providing outstanding products, customer service, creative solutions and state-of-the-art homes for buyers.

Innovation is a staple of the Arizona home center, with team members who are deeply committed to evolving the off-site built housing industry and providing an outstanding customer experience.

Clayton Homes retail centers strive to provide customers with a world class experience through the Welcome Home program, an initiative that aims to deliver a defect-free home to every customer. As part of the experience, buyers are assigned a Welcome Home Coordinator to assist them at every point in their purchase. Clayton Homes of Chino Valley took it a step further and invested in a software program to track all projects that are under construction to help keep homebuyers informed during their home’s building process.

“Each time we hand over the keys to a new home we want to know we’ve done everything possible to make that homebuyer’s journey as exciting as possible,” said Dave Roe, General Manager of Clayton Homes of Chino Valley. “We are thrilled our team is being recognized for our commitment to providing the best experience possible while always searching for ways to improve.”

Along with being General Manager, Dave Roe also serves as the Chairman for the Arizona Department of Housing and the Vice Chairman for MHIA (Manufactured Housing Industry of Arizona). In addition, he was appointed by then Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to represent the off-site built housing industry by serving on the Overdimensional Permit Council.

In 2020, the Chino Valley team organized a new development where CrossMod™ homes were sold. CrossMod™ homes blend off-site and site-built construction processes while offering forward-thinking designs, energy-efficient features, and high-end materials – all without sacrificing the efficiency, quality and construction speed that comes with off-site built homes.

“We are incredibly proud of our team at Clayton Homes of Chino Valley,” said Danny Warrick, Retail President of Clayton Homes. “They are elevating our industry and providing attainable homeownership opportunities with manufactured housing through their dedication to customer experience and showcasing quality housing.”

MHI® is the national trade organization for the off-site built housing industry, whose members include builders, retail home centers, community owners, suppliers and 50 affiliated state organizations. Members are responsible for more than 85 percent of the homes in the off-site built housing category produced each year.
