Friday Favorite: The Baylee

This week’s Friday Favorite is sweeping us off our feet with a dreamy kitchen, a cozy den and a primary bathroom that will leave you wondering if you love the walk-in shower or stone-covered tub more. Come meet the Baylee, the darling Clayton Built® home that’s waiting for you.

What better way to start the year than with a new Friday Favorite to fall for, especially one with such a romantic, understated elegance like this one. The Baylee takes your breath away as soon as you walk in. Maybe it’s the arched doorways and the crown molding, or maybe it’s the stone accents and the polished, dark wood cabinetry. Probably all the above! Whatever it is about this home model, it’s hard not to let your eyes linger over each room and put the Baylee at the top of your list of dream homes.

A First Impression to Impress in the Living Room

The Baylee has plenty of space to show off its beautiful design at 2,280 sq. ft with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Let’s start right at the front door. As you waltz through the lovely glass-paneled door, the living room welcomes you with plush Shaw® carpeting and the two optional stone-covered columns framing the way to the dining area. If you go left from the living room, the hallway will lead to 3 of the bedrooms, and if you start to the right, you can glimpse the center of the home, the kitchen and den.

Book a Kitchen Island Getaway

You’ll want to live in the kitchen just on its own. It features stainless steel appliances to match the pendulum lights over the large island and light, wood-style flooring. A picture window illuminates the farmhouse sink with a modern, pull-down faucet, and the island includes a single basin sink as well for easy meal prep. The quartz-style counters and the ornate range hood add distinct touches while still harmonizing with the many cabinets, giving you all the storage space you could want.

Are you already excited to see more? We couldn’t wait either! We’re obsessed with all the details and features that make this home so amazing, and you can check them out in detail in this walkthrough.

Stay Flexible with the Den

The kitchen is across from the den, great for more casual entertaining and family game nights. The entertainment center and side shelves are built right into the wall with recessed lighting perfect for highlighting your TV or art display. Columns keep the area open but distinct, and the center hinge doors give you that French door look. They lead outside, perfect for a patio party or backyard cookout. A corner fireplace is also optional for a more intimate mood and classic look.

Another benefit to having a den is that it can easily become a flex space to fit your vision. If you work remotely, you could turn it into your productivity area, with easy access to a snack from the kitchen on your breaks, or you can designate it as a play area for your kids. Whether you’ve always wanted your own reading nook or a private yoga studio, doing your sun salutation routine while looking out the glass doors in the morning, you’ll find this space is a great candidate to personalize to fit your lifestyle.

A Fresh Take on the Laundry Room

Past a louvered door, you can move from the den to the laundry room. It has the same plentiful cabinets for extra storage and the stainless steel sink with the pull-down faucet that we admired in the kitchen. This laundry room even has a smaller island, an excellent space to fold and sort your clothes. There’s an outlet in one side of the island as well, so you can easily plug in a steamer for more wrinkle-prone garments. The space also has a linen closet, and another back door exits out to the yard, making the area a convenient mudroom too.

A Primary Bathroom that Makes a Splash

On the other side of the den is the door to the primary bedroom and, our favorite room in the Baylee, the primary bathroom. It has the gorgeous flooring you’ll find throughout the home, dual sinks and even more of the stone accents we love! The garden tub is overlaid with stone, as is its backsplash, with a stone step leading into the tub. An archway stretches across the two walls the tub is nestled between, and the recessed lighting above creates a private, peaceful retreat. The walk-in shower also has a wall that is half stone-covered and half glass. In the shower, you’ll find a seat, both a rain showerhead and hand shower and a transom window. And let’s not forget the closet with built-in shelving and the private toilet room.

If you think the inside of the Baylee is stunning, know that the outside has the details to match. It has similar stone-gray accents and wide casing around the windows, with optional awning. Plus, you have the option for a chalet dormer over the front door and the kitchen’s picture window, which makes the home even more charming. The Baylee truly has stolen our hearts, and if it’s stolen yours too, add it to your Favorites account, with all the other beautiful Clayton Built® home models you’ve been eyeing. After all, your dream home should be one worth dreaming of!
