At Clayton, we strive to develop housing innovations that improve lives and build a better tomorrow. To build a better tomorrow, we will empower our team members to promote equality, drive innovation, minimize our impact on the environment and help open doors to a better life for all.
As a national home builder, Clayton is committed to building green, providing homeowners with the latest energy efficiency features and keeping sustainability at the forefront of our processes every step of the way. Constructing our off-site built homes in a controlled environment allows us to reduce our impact on the planet by monitoring our energy usage, diverting waste and recycling materials. All 40 of our Home Building Facilities and each of our 11 Clayton Supply Facilities are ISO 14001 certified, meaning that we have implemented best practices in environmental management during our building process.
As a company, Clayton does not and will not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind. Clayton is committed to celebrating every Clayton team member for our differences. In July 2019 we began developing Boundless, a company-wide diversity and inclusion program created to empower our team members to celebrate each other, to grow together as a company and to ensure no one is held back or “bound” by any aspect of themselves.
Investing in our people is a priority, and we believe a strong wellness culture contributes to an fulfilling team member experience. Our on-staff wellness team has a passion for offering fun and engaging programs for our team members so they can incorporate wellness ideas and practices into their lives – both personally and professionally. The programs we offer support a variety of well-being dimensions, including physical, emotional, financial, social, spiritual and occupational well-being.
